How many presents is too many?

I just hate deciding on either one big present or lots of smaller ones. How do you determine what is a large present and what is a small? It is my girlfriend's birthday on Monday and I wanted to buy her something amazing but could not find anything. The result, after consulting her, "I would like lots of presents". So Bluewater and several pounds later.....I got her presents from all kinds of shops and they total 16 so far plus one more I bought today and another I intend to buy from Lakeside tomorrow night. Is that too much? I just wanted to get her a selection to show I know her style and likes. Wish me luck with some pixie dust! <3
